Connects quickly to Battaramulla, Thalawathugoda, and Maharagama. This route joins the Parliament Road, leading to Rajagiriya, Borella, and Colombo 07.
• Pittugala Junction
Leads directly to Kaduwela, Kelanithissa, Kelaniya, and Kotalawala — ideal for catching the Kaduwela Expressway Entrance, which links to the Katunayake Airport Highway, Kandy Expressway, and Southern Expressway.

From here, you can either:
o Turn towards Kaduwela or Kelaniya, or
o Go straight via Malabe Town to Battaramulla and Colombo.

Joins the Outer Circular Highway, giving the fastest access to Kottawa, Maharagama, and the Southern Expressway. Perfect for travellers heading towards Galle, Matara, or Kataragama.

Evening return trips are easier between 6-10 pm Avoid office Hours 7-9 am and 4-5 pm unless required

Public Transport
You’ll find frequent buses from Malabe Bus Stand (Kahanthota Road):
• Route 170: Athurugiriya → Malabe → Thalangama → Rajagiriya → Pettah (Colombo Fort)
• Route 17: Malabe → Kaduwela (about 11 minutes · Rs 50–60)
• Other buses: 190 and 336 to nearby suburbs
From Colombo Fort Station, trains run daily to Kandy, Ella, Galle, and Matara — some of the most scenic journeys in the country.
